This Private club opened in 2004 and is for members of the creative industries. The seven story building (formerly St Paul’s Hospital) boasts TV and Music Studio, a GalleryRestaurant and Bars, a Screening RoomHotel Rooms, and the Oak Room, a live performance space. This venue is simply buzzing with creative vibes, a place to drink, socialise and a place to rest your weary head, all in the centre of London. Don’t worry though, you don’t have to be a member to stay in their gorgeous hotel rooms and be given access to all other areas when you do so – though you might miss out on a handy discount!

The Hospital Club Hotel Room

There are 15 hotel rooms in total and all of them are extraordinary (design by Russell Sage Studios) but our favourite is the suite. Huge King sized bed with dark wooden feature wall and warm cosy side lamps make for a welcoming night of rest. Plump pillows and bold coloured scatter cushions highlight the creative flair of the building, not forgetting this brave multi coloured carpet which truly is the statement here. We love the large balcony windows letting in tonnes of light whilst still being very private with high external walls and greenery. The wall hanging adds the perfect bohemian tone to this swish contemporary design and is an unusual addition in a hotel room.

The Hospital Club Bathroom

The bathroom is an experience in itself and is everything it should be. The deep bathtub perfect for a candlelit bath and we love the chrome old style taps. Earthy tones of the walls and floor with natural wood finishes have a welcome calming effect, perfect for bathing and washing the day away. The Hospital Club won’t let us forget where we are though, with the quirky stained glass windows, reminding us of the creative space. A rainforest shower, fluffy white bathrobes and deluxe bathing products are all simply, the cherry on the top.

The Hospital Club second hotel room

Time for some well-earned relaxation in the suite living area. This section of the suite boasts absolute luxury.  We love the plush curved sofa in this gorgeous shade of blue and deluxe veneer drinks cabinet echoing Hollywood 40’s glamour era, a perfect piece for a hotel centred on those in the creative industry.

One of the things we love most about this hotel is the opportunity for creatives. An election of artists from The Hospital Club community were assigned a bedroom to curate and exhibit their work giving every room its own unique and individual identity.
